"My credential actually gets noticed"
My ISC2 credential gets recognized often at work and when I’m talking about jobs. It’s not like it magically solves everything, but it does sorta add a real layer of trust

I really liked how ISC2 lays out the score reporting info so clearly!! I knew what to expect after the exam and didn’t feel like I was left wondering what would happen next. The whole process was simple, easy to understand, and made the experience a lot less stressful. Overall, it was a good experience!!

I got my digital badge without any hassle, and it showed up faster than I expected. I needed it for my profile after finishing the course, so it was nice not having to chase anything down...

The membership fee feels way too high for how little I actually use it. I kept hoping the value would become more obvious over time, but it just hasn’t. At this point, I feel like I’ve lost trust that I’m getting anything worthwhile for the money.

"Helpful, but kinda pricey"
ISC2 certs definitely have some value and I do think they helped my resume a bit. That said, the fees and all the yearly requirements feel like a lot sometimes. I’d say it’s worth it if certain jobs you’re going after care about it, but I’m not totally sure it makes sense for everyone.

"Felt more like a box-checking course than real prep"
I took one of the ISC2 training courses and, to be honest, it was average. There were definitely a few useful parts, but a lot of the time it felt like we were just going through slides and having stuff read off the screen. Maybe I’m being cynical, but it kind of felt like the goal was more to get through the official material than to actually make sure people were ready for the exam. For the price, I expected better examples, more hands-on practice, and a clearer connection to what we’d actually face on test day. The instructor was fine, but overall I didn’t walk away feeling much more prepared

Site’s fine. The work experience section threw me off at first. Had to dig around to figure out what actually counts. Not terrible. Just needs to be clearer.
"Pretty Smooth Renewal"
I renewed my ISC2 certificate online and overall it was easy. The steps were clear for the most part, though it took me a little while to figure out where to upload and confirm everything. Payment went through fine and my status updated without any issues. Not perfect, but there was something about it that felt straightforward enough once I got going.

"Easy Exam Booking, No Stress"
I used ISC2 to book my exam, it was way smoother than I thought it would be. The steps were straightforward, and I didn’t end up getting stuck or confused like I half expected.
Choosing the date and test center was simple, and the confirmation email came through quickly, which made me feel like everything was good to go. Nothing over the top, it just worked like it should. Overall, a good experience.

"Great community, but I wish the networking felt more reliable"
I’ve really enjoyed the community overall, people seem friendly and there’s a good vibe. That said, the networking side has felt a little hit or miss for me. Sometimes I make a useful connection, and other times it feels like I might be missing out on opportunities I joined for in the first place. I’d just hate to invest time here and not get the full value out of it

"Endorsement process took too long"
The endorsement ended up taking way longer than I expected, and the updates along the way were confusing. Support did respond, but most of the replies felt like copy-and-paste answers, which didn’t really help much. I was worried I might lose time or miss something important because I couldn’t get a clear answer.

"Helpful webinars, though they vary a bit"
I mostly use isc2.org for the professional development webinars, they’ve been useful overall. I tend to put one on after work when I still have a little brainpower left, and most of the topics are relevant enough that I feel like I’m actually getting something out of them without having to totally switch into study mode.
The quality does kind of depend on who’s presenting, though. Some speakers are really clear and keep things moving, and then every now and then there’s one that feels a bit slow or maybe too basic, where I catch myself checking the time. Still, even with those, I usually end up with at least a few decent notes or reminders to look into later.
I also like that the CPE tracking is built in, because that’s one less thing to deal with, and I’ll take that whenever I can. It’s not a perfect experience, but for keeping up with security topics and staying on top of continuing education, it’s been worth the time for me.

"No surprises, just clear info"
Had a good experience with isc2.org. Nothing dramatic. The policies were easy to find, not buried in some tiny link where you have to hunt around forever. And the main thing for me, the rules didn’t suddenly change halfway through. Same expectations from start to finish. No weird last-minute confusion. Just straightforward, which was all I was hoping for.

"I put in a lot of time..."
I put in a lot of time studying, so it was frustrating to get into the exam and feel like the questions were just oddly worded. A few of the answer choices looked almost identical, and I kept worrying I was going to lose points not because I didn’t understand the topic, but because I misread what they were trying to ask. I know exams aren’t supposed to be easy, but this felt more like guessing the wording than actually showing what I learned.

I had to cancel my exam sometime last week, I think it was Tuesday? maybe Wednesday, and reached out about getting a refund. Support got back to me quickly, walked me through what I needed to do, and it all got sorted without much hassle. it was easier than I thought it would be.

"Helpful ISC2 Prep That Was Easy to Stick With"
I found the isc2 study materials easy to follow, which was a relief because I was expecting them to be more overwhelming. The practice questions were probably my favorite part, every time I got one wrong, I was like, okay, good to know, that’s something I need to go back and review. Some of the reading did feel a little dry at times, not gonna lie, but overall it was really useful and helped me feel more prepared

The official emails are easy to understand and usually clear. Umm, I just wish they came through a bit faster sometimes because a few updates feel like they arrive later than expected
